Gearu

A GEARU is a person who is incredibly proficient with all things technical. Be it a complicated video system, a new computer program, or simply a high tech toaster, this is the person everyone turns to for technical assistance. Some people have taken this ability to an even higher level and approach a near zen like aptitude to know what every button does on every machine. A true GEARU exudes a calm and confident aura of proficiency. They have transcended the minor label of computer geek and become the true guru of gear, the GEARU. Also known as "the keeper of the knobs".

"I've been working for hours trying to get this video system to work. No matter how many times I try to set it up it just doesn't want to operate. I guess I'll have to call Conrad, he's a real GEARU when it comes to these things."

Loup-Garoux

The French term for werewolf. Unlike the werewolf legends, Loup-Garoux can turn at will. The Full Moon has no effect on them whatsoever. You cannot become a Loup-Garoux. You are either born one, or not. Silver can kill them. So can normal bullets, piercing through the heart-as is done with vampires-, and fire. They are not cursed, but blessed. They are more powerful than man, more powerful than beast. It is said that when they turn, they are not the disfigured hairy beasts society has made them out to be, but beautiful creatures. They look just like wolves, but slightly larger. They are mentioned in the book Blood and Chocolate, and also in the movie of that novel.

I sometimes wish I was born a Loup-Garoux, so I could murder my gym teacher. ^_^

Garou: Mark of the Wolves

Made by SNK in 1999, it is considered to be Fatal Fury 4 by many. One of the best 2D fighters ever, featuring a VERY well balanced roster and rock-solid controls. Button mashing noobs have no chance at this game. Terry Bogard is the only 'old' SNK character here, although most of the other characters follow the same fighting styles as their predecessors (ie. Tizoc --> Raiden, and etc..). It is said to be set 10 years after the death of Geese Howard.
