Within the episode, the character of Fives is exposed to the knowledge that a conspiracy involving the mental manipulation of fellow clones through biogenetic-chips intended to ensure obedience pending the awaited Order 66. Fives, unable to get anyone to believe the knowledge, slowly loses his mind due to an injection received on the part of those in on the plan, convincing most he has snapped.
