n. (FO'-gram-mir) Someone who pretends to be a progammer, like someone who designs in HTML. Has no idea of flow control, object oriented programming, and doesn't understand when people call him a noob. Might have modified the permissions on a file once.
Yeah, MJ was such a fauxgrammer he drew a series of boxes, made a shitty flowchart, and called it an algorithm and had his intern actually write the code.
A pejorative term used regionally in Vancouver, BC, to denote the falseness or fraudulence of the "New" Cobalt. The Cobalt was once a world renowned hardcore music venue catering to the Punk & Metal scenes. It nurtured the early careers of countless local and touring bands as well as provided a place for established bands to play in an authentic atmosphere with a truly wicked sound system. Now under new management the Cobalt has reopened as a den of posers and tryhards happily throwing dance parties on the ashes of Vancouver's music scene.
Trendy Hipster: "Hey Man, are gonna check out the dance party at the Cobalt this weekend?"
Metalhead: "FUCK THAT!!! DEATH TO THE FAUXBALT!!!"

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
Some grebo passed with Sabbath playing on his stereo.
The Poppies are at no. 17? God, a grebo band in the charts!
They're playing nu-metal now, bloody grebos!
