An eating disorder which somebody came up with for attention, but fits into the way they want their made up disorder to sound because they don't have a real eating disorder. Similar to {wannarexia}.

Emily: Hannah, do you want to eat these peas?
Hannah: No! I have an eating disorder I can't have that... But I'll have that chocolate over there.
Gen: You have a such a fake ed, Hannah.

fake edit 

Marker for a closing remark or afterthought placed at the end of a forum message.

An internet forum neologism with approximately the same function as a traditional postscript (ps). As with postscripts (pps), multiple fake edits can be and often are stacked after a post, although the conventions for doing so aren't really standardized.

The most pressing need for the postscript faded away with the advent of word processors, which added the ability to simply insert a later thought directly into its proper location in the body of a message. Still, the convention lingers on, though interpretation of whether a particular instance is the result of pure habit, of mild laziness, or of a desire to draw attention to a particular point will depend on its context.

We were in the 8th row at the concert, and I gotta say they put on one hell of a show. I wasn't a fan of theirs before, but now I'd definitely drive a couple hours to catch them again!

Aside from definition 1, it is also kids who call themselves straight edge while they are underage and then plan to drink when they are older.

Real edger: Hey man, what are you doing? I thought you were straight edge?

Fake edge kid: I was, but now I'm old enough to drink.

Real edger: Straight edge is true till death.

Fake edge kid: But i wanna drink...

Real edger: fine, but you never were really straight edge.

some one who is fake edge is some one who does not take the straight edge name seriously and usually starts to claim sxe as for status/friends/excuse and more often is because they think its a trend. but its not. its a life long commitment for yourself and no body else. fake edgers give into drugs or "sell out" becuase they were never true.
