Face-to-Facebook

Adding only your closest friends in Facebook and keeping in touch with them, for real.
Jake -I got 1,500 friends in this cool networking game called Facebook and you got like 10. LMAO, you suck..
Marcus -For me it is more like Face-to-Facebook, like seeing my friends when not really being able to meet them in person.

face-to-facebook

A book one carries around to write down phone numbers, emails, etc.

Carried around when a person is living in denial of digital and they're not on Facebook, don't have an iphone, etc.
Joan: Dylan isn't on facebook, so when he said he wanted to stay in touch I wrote my number in his face-to-facebook.
Edie: You mean a paper book? How cute!

Jack: We couldn't google map it since none of us had iphones, so I had to draw the directions in Will's face-to-facebook.

face to facebooking

When you step outside the realms of social networking, and actually communicate with an acquaintance through face to face, verbal contact.

face to facebook, face to facebooking, face to facebooker
Don't worry, you can come round to my house and we can do some face to facebooking in the meantime!

Face to Facebook

Face to Facebook is when you don't have time to call or get together in person with friends or business contacts, but you still want them to feel special, so you write on their wall.
Hey no big deal. I wish I had time for a face to face meeting too but I am so slammed that I can't make it until late next week. We can Face to Facebook until our lives calm down a bit. If you need immediate attention, you can always go primitive and I'll pick up.

A toe rag was originally a foot wrapping used, since mediaeval times up until the mid-nineteenth century, to protect the foot from chafing by boots or shoes. As these were, quite literally, rags they weren’t usually washed, and so with use they became very smelly until they were thrown away. Because of the similarity in smell, toe rag also became the name applied to dried, salted cod or other things with a strong, unpleasant, fishy smell. It didn’t take that long before the name was applied to someone who was an obnoxious, unpleasant OIC.
1 “Socks! Those aren’t socks you smelly git, they’re toe rags!”
2 “What have you been cooking? Smells like toe rag!”
3 “I can smell ‘er fanny from ‘ere, proper toe rag.”
4 That Heale Malcolm is a right toe rag.

Eternity leave

When some resigns or retires from a job, they are on "eternity leave". This can also refer to someone who has passed away, especially someone who worked somewhere for a long time, retired/resigned, then passed away later.
Oh I'm sorry, you didn't know that Kelly is on eternity leave? She resigned and moved to Hawaii!

With regrets I would like to inform you that my boss is officially on eternity leave. I will never see or hear them again. Ever.
