ethnocide

"Ethnocide" means "destruction or murder of an ethnic group". It comes from the Greek "έθνος" and the Latin "caedere". In contrast to the more-general term "genocide" (pertaining to a case in which significant numbers of people are murdered, and with "genus" referring to either ethnic, class, or familial distinction), "ethnocide" refers to the specific and targeted destruction of an ethnic group.

The Holocaust was really less of a genocide than it was an ethnocide, since the Nazis (Yemach shemam.) specifically intended to destroy the Jewish ethnic group.

ethnodiffusionism

Ethnodiffusionism is the political philosophy of urban planning distinguished by the Diffusion Principle, which states that no two members of the same ethnic background can reside within a mile of one another. Barack Obama once called it the single most effective countermeasure against ethnonationalists.

I am a staunch enthodiffusionist, i.e., a proponent of ethnodiffusionism.
