dwightism 

A broad term used to describe an act, typically performed by a Dwight or by someone with Dwight-like tendencies.

Generally, this act concerns an obsession with unimportant details, concerns making a big deal out of nothing, and/or doing whatever possible to make his/her job seem more
important than it is.

Dwightisms are normally amusing (to those not directly involved) but usually irritating.

"My day was going well until the Dwight in my office emailed me that he would be away from his desk for 10 minutes to go to the bathroom. And he sent me a meeting invite for a conference call he won't even be on."

"Did you see that Steve's screensaver is Anime? What a Dwightism."

When a girl's bangs unintentionally separate directly in the middle of her forehead resembling that of Dwight Schrute from The Office.

Girl 1: "Ugh, my hair looks like crap tonight."
Girl 2: "You're telling me, I'm totally dwighting right now!"

dwightish 

(adj) usually relating to time or a time frame that is much earlier than the norm.

I'll be working dwightish hours tomorrow so I can leave early to pickup my parents at the airport.
