When academic or other credentials are considered the ultimate criteria in hiring or evaluation rather then a person's competence or ability to do a particular job.

They hire these young no nothings idiots with masters to be my boss and then I spent my time training them . Credentialism at its worst .

Credentialism

Credentialism can be 2 definitions:
1. Valuing credentials over practical skills
2. Ranking someone's intelligence based on their credentials

This practice is dangerous because your determining an individual's worth based on credentials rather than skills even if that individual is intelligent you consider them to be less because of their credentials, it perpetuates inequality.

1. Joe got the new job because he has higher education despite not having the skills for said job.
2. Bob is ranked as less intelligent simply because he went into an apprenticeship.

Credentialism is perpetuated by pseudo-intellectuals.

Cripple Credentials 

Proof, lest ye be scorned, that you need a wheelchair, a walker, a cane, a neck brace...ANYTHING to validate parking in the handicapped parking space, or sitting in the handicap seats on any public transportation!

If people don't actually SEE your disability, you are looked at with absolute discuss, even hatred! You need "Cripple Credentials" before people will mind their own business!
