Having or showing a feeling of patronizing superiority once a product starts selling on Costco but completely think it’s overprice and unnecessary prior to that

My wife is super costcosending, she asked me to return a gadget I bought last year from amazon but she bought it home as if she discovered a treasure once it goes on sale at Costco last week
