cloyfriend

A cloyfriend is that guy who just won't get it. He will NEVER be your BOYfriend, but he thinks if he hangs around long enough he is sure to get lucky someday. He NEVER will. He is cloying and annoying and is just pathetic enough that you don't have the heart to tell him the awful truth, not that it would deter him. A Cloyfriend is basically a harmless stalker.
Larry just keeps posting pictures of him and me on his Facebook page. We were up at Tahoe with a bunch of people over the Fourth, but somehow he managed to get pictures of us together, what a CLOYFRIEND.

Used when a person wishes to express distaste at the latest fashion trend/fad, because it seems that everyone has a certain item of clothing or is wearing it. This term is most frequently heard in Paris but is slowly spreading to other parts of France.

A slang term for GLP-1 medications(like Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, etc.), usually referring to their appetite-killing, weight-loss, or “I forgot to eat” effects rather than the medical details.

Usage:
* Often casual, ironic, or meme-y
* Can imply effortless weight loss, suppressed hunger, or being “powered by pharmaceuticals”

Notes:
Not a brand name—just shorthand for the whole GLP-1 wave. Frequently shows up in online jokes, gym talk, and group chats where people pretend they’re *totally* doing it naturally.
“I’m not dieting, I’m just on that glippy.”
“Ever since the glippy hit, food feels optional.”
“That summer body? Yeah, glippy assisted.”
