A gathering of women, much like men have a "sausage fest", women have a "Clamboree".

Chris attended the clamboree that the sorority threw last night, and was the only guy there.

A large celebration or party, typically a lavish and boisterous; specifically one that involves many clams, nose clams that is.

The boys are all up in Vail for the 4th of July, I bet it is a total clamboree.
