see black friday or greedy

though i do love recieving gifts on chrismas day, its a shame that people have forgotten the spirit of the holiday season. christmas shopping basically translate to "buy all you can; take all you buy" day because thats all people care about.

Going from store to store looking for items to put on your Christmas list. To be contrasted with regular shopping as you're just making a list of stuff you want versus actually buying anything.

Store clerk: Can I help you find anything?
Customer: No thanks, I'm just going Christmas list shopping.
Store Clerk: Oh, ok.

Christme Shopping

Christmas is on it's way, you've just bought gifts for all extended relatives and their dozen pets, isn't it time for a little personal splurging while you're out?
Simply put, going "Christme Shopping" is purchasing gifts exclusively for yourself - usually items that you know you aren't going to get otherwise, or could just be shopping for yourself around the holidays when the outlets are packed.

Christman Shopping

The manly art of going out the week before Christmas and buying yourself a gift that you really, really want thus causing your friends/family to return the one that they bought you that you hadn't opened yet.

Him: "So I really wanted a new leather coat and I saw this on a Christmas Eve sale and bought it for myself. It's my way of Christman shopping"

Her: "I guess the one that I bought for you can go to the homeless shelter for Christmas. At least they'll appreciate it"
