When something that is not a cat is very cat like. Can be used to describe/intensify a noun. Although usually positive, cat-tastic could serve to describe something that is cat like in a negative way (hairballs..)

That animal shelter was cat-tastic.

Cat shaped chairs are cat-tastic

When you receive news that’s so unbelievable and fantastic, you’d think the person is capping.
The word is normally reserved for extraordinary news, rather than mediocre news.

Person 1: I just bought Apple
Person 2: Wow, that’s captastic!
