An intentionally created covert backdoor access in computer hardware or software disguised to look like it originally occurred by accident or as a feature for something else to later use plausible deniability and feigned innocence as an excuse.

The world's largest networking hardware producing company has recently been caught distributing bugholes in it's equipment that were just replaced with new bugholes.
