In collegiate rowing, a brewK is the same distance as a traditional 6K race, however, after every 500m rowed, the individual racing must chug a beer. If the participant throws up, they are put in a penalty box for two minutes, which is then added to their overall time.

“How was the brewK?”

“Not good, I hurled at 3500m, which ruined my time.”
