fade-back

v. nt. The act of withdrawing onesself from the group of friends with the intentions of meeting up with a member of the opposite sex. Usually occurs while travelling between bars or parties.

Some common fade-back techniques:
- random phone call during which the fader speaks outside or behind the group for an elongated span of time and eventually just leaves.
- the "I'll catch up with you guys" line
- "I've got to go get my friend"
"Jim, what happened to Adam?"
-"I dunno, he's been us with us the whole night."
"Oh yeah, he was acting kinda shady when he got that call. On the way he was walking like 10 feet behind all of us"
-"I smell a fade-back"
"Bastard."

church hurt

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.

Huge. Surpassing normal expectations.
I was fishing with a Spinner Bait and a HONKIN pike came after it and hit it . Felt like a lawnmower running over a brick.
