Big Pussy Syndrome. When training gets hard, some people will push through, making them stronger. Unfortunately, most people exhibit BPS by finding reasons not to train hard. This is very common in cycling, as skinny roadies unaccustomed to actual muscle fatigue, will claim they are "over trained" and need a week off, rather than training hard and letting their bodies adapt to the newstresslevel.
Tim: "I gave up squats because it made my legs too weak for cycling."

A sunburn or suntan focused on the left arm. It is caused by the left side of the body being the only half that gets exposed to sunlight while driving. Presumably, it would be located on the right side of the body in countries where they drive on the left side of the road.
I had a trucker's tan after driving for 10 straight hours on a sunny day.
