Authorial Snap

The practice of inferring information about an author from the habits, conversation or biography of their characters. This is especially marked in relation to first-person, confessional and/or debut novels.
"I just finished playing Authorial Snap with Lindqvist's Let The Right One In. Oskar is such a shoe-in replacement for the author. Wonder if he was bullied as a child too?"

Authority boner

When a someone, who generally has no authority, is given authority. Thusly, resulting in an erection due to over confidence and an inflated self-worth
When the mall cop saw some kids loitering where they shouldn't be; he instantly got an authority boner at the thought of kicking them out of the mall.

authoritard

A boss who orders their underlings to do meaningless pointless work, that basically puts the team further from their goal than they were before the boss stepped in. They want you to work harder, not smarter...
She wants you to scan printouts of a web page so she can see them on her computer? What an authoritard...

respect my authoritah!

Something you say to assholes who just won't respect your authoritah.

One of Cartman's favorite expressions.
YOU: I'm not doing what you say.
ME: Respect my authoritah!

authoritah

The pronunciation of the word "authority" most frequently employed by Cartman from the show South Park (or by others in connection with him).
"You WILL respect my authoritah!"

"Perhaps this will teach you to listen to authoritah!"

"Oh no! Nothing's worse than Cartman with authoritah!"

National Defense Authorization Act

Reason the "land of the free" A.K.A., the U.S.A, will lose all meaning and could very be the REAL apocalypse in 2012. Simply put, learning the Bill of Rights in school was a waste.

In a 93-7 vote, declares the entire USA to be a "battleground" upon which U.S. military forces can operate with impunity, overriding Posse Comitatus and granting the military the unchecked power to arrest, detain, interrogate and even assassinate U.S. citizens with impunity.
CANADIAN PERSON: What's this National Defense Authorization Act I've been hearing about, ay? Something about rights?

AMERICAN PERSON: I used to stand up for my rights.....but then I took an arrow in the knee.
