The Bible says "that the worse curse of a liar is that he believes his own lies," said a preacher to Comedian and Social Commentator, Al Franken, on an airplane. Per Al Franken, this would be the highest form of an "assholification" as that quote is not in the Bible...its just a nice quote. See also assholicity.

When an asshole takes up a holier-than-thou position in a given situation simply because they feel it would be a good "asshole-move" to make.

Him: "When they get here, we should speak only in Italian because they missed all the Italian lesson meetings."

Me: "Wow...that's pretty assholier-than-thou."

Him: "I know...I'm an asshole, remember?"
