to say that your heart is beating unnormally fast, derived from pulse, i.e. my heart is beating like a rabbit's (rabbit-pulse)rulse. a caffeine or adrenaline induced form of hyperactivity.

Dude, i just drank a mountain dew, now i have a rulse, and i'm typeing as fast as a cheetah.
