To simply add apostrophes where they are needed. Most commonly used when finding errors.
Board: l examen

Me: you've got to apostrophize it.

Board: l'examen

apostrophise 

the process of adding apostrophe's to words to shorten and combine them in order to fit in a text/tweet.

like so: th'whatever

normally: the whatever

the apostrophe reduces the character count by one.
i had to apostrophise th'tweet, it was faaar too long!
