Formerly the Sandstone Capital off the world, Amherst, Ohio is the home of the Amherst Comets. Like many sprawling suburban communities, Amherst, Ohio continues to be transformed into a safe, growing, commercial, residential community that still has a great small town feel near the central business district. Where else but in a small, quaint suburban community can you still shop at a Ben Franklin's five & dime, buy a small pet at Neptune's Cellar, have dinner at Ziggys, Angelo's, Hot Dog Heaven, the list goes on.... Oh, and don't forget the close proximity to several of Lorain County's MetroParks including Mill Hollow where there is a place to stop and see where the Underground Railroad passed through and the annual Potato Festival... great place to live, work, or visit.

Amherst OH. Football Team

This is the "best" football team to exist in the world, they are so good that they blow more leads than Kimmy Granger blows men.... This team will have a lead of 30 to 12 but than by the 3rd quarter the score will be 30 to 45. They get mad easily and if you joke about them being bad they will get triggered, but they also do have a good side. The team has confidence, thats about it tho.....

Amherst, Ohio

A quaint town, about 25 minutes west of Cleveland, Ohio. It has a nice downtown area, and is an upper-middle class town. The fucked up school system really ruins the town, though. The preppy brats always make fun of you if you're not rich. There's stoners and emos who are only like that because of the constant bullying from the wealthy kids. It's not as bad as Avon, Ohio or Westlake, Ohio but it's still pretty a pretty damn awful place for poor people to live.

Meghan: Hmm... I think I want to move to Amherst.

Joe: You will regret it. You have to have a lot of money, and you must know someone within the system to be successful there.
Meghan: I think I will move to Oberlin now.

Joe: Oberlin, Ohio is wonderful! Amherst, Ohio is so bad.
