Alannis is a sweet, funny person. She likes inside jokes, but she hates surprises. You should never mess with an Alannis because she WILL BEAT YOU UP. If you are friends with an Alannis you should never let her go. Alannis is pretty, and she is not afraid to be herself. An Alannis can be a stubborn person at times, and she can be hot-headed once in a while, but she will always be there for her friends. She is a fun person to hang out with, and she is a very social person, but at times she can be shy. She laughs a lot, but at times she will be very serious. Alannis isn't afraid to break the rules, but she gets caught sometimes... She has her own style, and she likes to act weird with her friends. She tends to love animals, and she loves to cook and bake. She is very smart, and she is good at math. She LOVES music, and she can't live without it. Alannis tends to be girly, but at times she could be more like a tomboy. She seems like a brave person, but when it comes to rides... she acts completely different XD

Alanna is the realest friend you could ever be friends with. She will always be there for you in tough times but she will get annoyed if you do it for attention or do it all the time. Also this bitch is BIG PRETTY (no homo) . When your in a friend group with her it’s never funny or exciting if she isn’t there. And also I suggest you don’t get her mad cuz she will beat the brains outa you🤣. Alanna is like the type of friend that treats you like her child and looks after you 24/7 and always makes sure you are ok and she deserves more love then she gets.

The most outgoing, crazy, fun loving, energetic, girl you can find. Always up for crazy adventures. Mostly befriend by boys due to her laid back no bullshit attitude. Makes an amazing girlfriend due to her loyalty an caring nature. If you let an alannah get away your doomed to miss her the rest of your days bubby. Never lets a friend down. Doesnt back down from a fight when she believes in it.

The best girl you'll ever meet. She is beautiful on the inside as well as out. She may not be the first girl to catch your eye, but is defiantly the wakyest and funniest in the room. When you get to know her, she will make you amile everyday. Alanna is one of the best people to form a relationship with, because she will never let you down or betray you. Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
