acting jack

A soldier of low rank that is given the responsibility and stripes of a corporal or sergeant. Not a real promotion. Generally begrudged by soldiers under his command. “Jackshit”is something of low regard.

As an acting jack I was allowed to drink in the NCO club.

If someone acts crazy, odd or simply unpredictable, one acts Jacki and Cari.

Julia: Oh look at them! They're acting crazy !!
Horst: Yeah, totally acting "Jacki and Cari".

Phrase used in response to one of your friends doing something so badass, that it reminds them of Andrew Jackson.

Donny: "Did you see what Ron just did?"

Jeff: "Yeah, he was totally actin' like Jackson."
