A way of life

A way of life is the ultimate feeling of when a sport or event is no longer competitive and is like breathing and the joy of being able to do that sport or event becomes like your ability to live like breathing. A way of life is a phrase only reserved by the most extreme athletes who are able to push themselves past the feeling of fearing ones own death or injury and can block all other feelings out. Its no longer a sport or event, and it no longer requires skill.
A athlete who has no care for ones own life to do something that he loves has chosen a way of life.

Someone who can push there limits without thanking about it such as breathing comes to a person they have chosen a way of life.

its a way of life

A phrase that when used to describe any activity (especially a lame one), makes that activity seem extremely lame, if not totally gay.
"Doing yoga isnt just a way of burning fat, its a way of life."

"Not eating animals isnt just a way of 'saving animal's lives', its a way of life."

TEMPLATE:

(verb)ing (activity) isnt just (obvious result of doing the activity), its a way of life.

It's a way of life

A slogan used by the motorscooter and clothing company Lambretta in their advertising.

The quote can be seen on their clothing tags, enamel signs, posters, etc; dating from around the 1960s up until the current times.

This term has been coined by Mods and Scooterboys when referring to the hobby of scootering and/or scooter culture.
Dave: "I can't believe you'd ride to work on your GP200 in this awful weather!"

John: " What can I say? It's a way of life."

Life finds a way of not finding a way.

A play on the saying "Life finds a way".

The twist here is that sometimes things do not happen when they should have.
Procrastination, global pandemics, outside influence, many things can be a call for this saying.
"I was going to make lunch, but life finds a way of not finding a way."

Hate Sink

A person you hate intensely not because they deserve such hatred but because they serve as a focus for your general hatred. A healthy way to dispense with excess animosity.
Jake's not really that big an asshole. He just serves as my hate sink.

A toe rag was originally a foot wrapping used, since mediaeval times up until the mid-nineteenth century, to protect the foot from chafing by boots or shoes. As these were, quite literally, rags they weren’t usually washed, and so with use they became very smelly until they were thrown away. Because of the similarity in smell, toe rag also became the name applied to dried, salted cod or other things with a strong, unpleasant, fishy smell. It didn’t take that long before the name was applied to someone who was an obnoxious, unpleasant OIC.
1 “Socks! Those aren’t socks you smelly git, they’re toe rags!”
2 “What have you been cooking? Smells like toe rag!”
3 “I can smell ‘er fanny from ‘ere, proper toe rag.”
4 That Heale Malcolm is a right toe rag.
