“Yam time” is an artful expression of pure power. Originated by Hoopology to demonstrate the power of a basketball dunk in words, it has been adapted by Austin Rowing Club’s Under 17 Eight to be said by the coxswain to encourage the boat’s rowers to move at a faster pace during the final portion of a race.
“DO YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS?? ITS YAM TIME!!” -Claire, ARC Coxswain during the final 250m of the 2024 USRowing Central Youth Championships
Ruler of Lake Titicaca. Rumored to have a bunghole that gets very angry if it does not receive toilet paper. Cornholio the Great is often seen walking around with his shirt over his head and his hands in the air, chanting songs about his power, and his bunghole.
