When a franchise throws logic, lore, and decades of storytelling out the window to score social points. Basically a retcon with a woke paint job.

The Witcher suffers mild wokecon when secondary characters are spotlighted and some lore is rewritten to emphasize progressive beats over the original narrative.

Terminator: Dark Fate is wokecon — John Connor dies immediately, and a whole new savior replaces him, rewriting the franchise’s legacy.

Star Trek (Discovery / Strange New Worlds) - Spock’s canon is rewritten to give him an even more powerful half-sister, changing established family lore. Wokecon engaged.
