Withstance is being able to withstand something in a minimal capacity, and able to reinforce (Upgrade) this with time and energy. A crude combination of withstand and resistance.

Upgrade you defenses on your Dark Souls character to have be able to withstance enough PVE.

If you hit the gym enough with me bro you’ll be able to withstance life and your new job at that warehouse too.
