Upscale Whitetrash 

This is a affluent family who has lots of a money but still has lots of dysfunction.

When attending a upscale white trash family event over consumption of alcohol and drugs is common practice as well the occasional family fist fight. It is also common for 1 to 2 members of the family to be doing a jail stint.

Person A: The Smith family has lots of money?

Person B: They certainly do but one of the uncle's just got put in jail and a brawl broke out at the daughters wedding. They are definitely upscale whitetrash.

Your typical whitetrash drinks cheap malt liqour and lagers; sports mullets or military buzz or shaved heads.

Note: Different from rednecks, hicks, cowboys and hillbillies. These terms are not interchangeable! Each one is a very different.

whitewashed 

A derogatory term used to describe a minority who has assimilated with western society. The "White washed" person does not necessarily abandon his/her own culture but rather embrace others beside his/her own. Some people take it as a compliment while others take it as an insult.

Just because I am open minded does not mean I am whitewashed. Get it straight!
