Whatevarian

Similar to a contrarian, but without any conviction. A Whatevarian is a person who, when confronted with a good point (as in an argument) that they have no counter to, just says “Whatever!”

Joan didn’t know what to say when I told her I didn’t think her joke was funny. All she could think to say is “whatever”.
She’s a total Whatevarian!

engaging in romantic or sexual behaviors with another person in an ambiguous way that does not necessarily imply monogamy or commitment to a serious relationship. Related to but not necessarily concurrent or synonymous with the terms "talking" and "dating."

She and I have been whatevering all summer, but I doubt anything'll come of it.

Whatevering

Whatevering does not include intimacy - for that I would use other words. Various activities that include mental (for me), <physical>, chat, tele-path-ic stuff.

Thank you for whatevering with me! (said at the end of a stream,for example)
