Weekendolt

Somebody who lives for the weekend. They show an inexplicable desire to go out and waste an entire week's wage over the course of the weekend.

Will more often than not boast about it to their friends.

1: "I got totally wasted!"
2: "Okay. Do you want to go out and get something to eat?"
1: "I can't. I spent all my money getting wasted!"
2: "How will you survive for the rest of the week?"
1: "Who cares? Friday will be here in no time. I'm gonna get wasted! Partyyyy!"
2: "Scrap this. I can't continue to be friends with a weekendolt."

Weekenditis

What one who works a full-time job will catch at a certain point in the week where they are no longer willing to do work in anticipation to the upcoming weekend; similar to the more popular 'senioritis' often found in high schools.

On Thursday afternoon Stacy threw down her work and said "I'm done, I'm not doing anymore, I've got a severe case of weekenditis," as she strolled off to the break room for an undetermined amount of time.

a feeling one usually has on Friday in the evening when the weekend has not really started yet, but one already feels so great about the two next days that they seem to be longer than 48 hours

weekendation

A very short leisure trip taken on the weekend, sometimes over the course of a 3-day weekend when a holiday falls either on the preceding Friday or following Monday.

Our weekendation to the shore was so much fun but it was way too short. I can't wait to go back!
