When pharma controls mainstream media and uses blackmail, threatens, trolls, bribes, slanders and lies in an attempt to discredit and destroy any researcher or medical professional's reputation and career who has attempted to highlight the corruption and lack of pharmaceutical accountability and safety.
After Dr Ben Gregg's research concerning aluminum's effect on microglia was disseminated at the medical conference, he was relentlessly Wakefield'ed in the press and by paid bloggers.

A former industrial city situated in West Yorkshire, United Kingdom, the river Calder runs past the city. It also has the tallest church steepel in W.Yorkshire. It is infamous for its Polish immigrant, Chav and Emo/Goth population and extortionate drink prices.

The most exciting thing to happen there in the past two years is the movement of the statue of Queen Victoria away from the Bull Ring to the town hall leaving the Bull Ring with a stupid water feature that frequently breaks and so far has only been used to involuntarily wash tramps
Terrance: Hey do you wanna get pissed up in Wakefield saturday?
Vladimir: What? no way i cannot afford Wakefield drinking prices!?!?

Because there are not actually any minorities or crime in this North Shore Massachusetts town, the town's teenagers, despite being the children of lawyers, doctors, professionals, and business owners, feel the need to hang around down town decked out in 'urban' clothes and act thuggish. Thankfully, most of this contrived suburban angst is over by the end of high school, and these thuggish kids end up at top colleges and act like the East Coast assholes their parents always dreamed their kids would be.
outsider: I was in Wakefield, MA the other day, and the kids looked like thugs even though there were nice ass houses everywhere, what's up with that?

wakefielder: Yeah man, those kids are just doing their part by bringing a little urban culture to a town that sorely lacks it. Don't worry though, when these kids realize their lives will be much easier when they act like the WASPs that they are, they'll smarten up.

Wakefield is a medium sized upper-middle class suburb about 15 minutes north of Boston, with a population of about 25,000. It is in Middlesex County. Lake Quannapowitt is the town’s pride and joy… Wakefieldians really go nuts over it. The lake attracts tons of windsurfers, and the Quannapowitt Yacht Club has many smaller sailboats on the water during the summer. St. John’s Prep school also has a partnership with the Yacht Club for their sailing team. The lake is a little over 3 miles around, and brings in many walkers, bicyclists, runners, etc. The lake area has a huge Common that has lots of events throughout the year. The nicest areas tend to be around the lake, and the West Side. People in these areas tend to drive their Swedish cars to their ski houses, and have a bit too much pride in their neighborhood (West Side especially). The Greenwood area gets jokingly looked down upon by the rest of the town, but in reality most of it is just as nice. People from Greenwood have an unnatural obsession with Billy’s Roast Beef and FoodMart, and the rest of the town loves Toody’s. The downtown area has a few nice restaurants (Duck Walk, Sushi Island, Ristarante Molise), and plenty of classics (Zalek’s, Brother’s Deli, Nonno’s, etc). The sports team are The Warriors. The Library has a marble wall in front that attracts the town's skaters and punks. The town became slightly notorious after the Wakefield Massacre in 2000. Neighboring towns are Melrose (Wakefield’s biggest rival), Lynnfield, Saugus, Reading, and Stoneham. Overall, a pretty nice place to be.
After the Warriors game, Wakefield kids are going to party hard in the West Side.

The knuckleballer for the BoSox. He has a fastball, which is not very fast, a 12-6 curve and a devastating knuckleball. He is a fly-ball out pitcher and he has been pretty solid for the BoSox over his career. Doug Mirabelli catches for him almost every game. He is also a great fielder

Tim Wakefield's fastball is slower than most changeups.
Tim Wakefield is a solid fielder.

The new guy seems pretty happy for a dude who has no job, no money and no family. He must be on a pink cloud.

Striver

Share definition Flag
The striver is an interesting phenomenon that is seen across college campuses. In essence, the striver is an over-achiever who comes from a working or middle class family. He may be an immigrant. He may have been a slacker in HS who was "born again" into an academic wunderkind. Or he may just be an over-achiever who is keeping at it.

The striver is willing to sacrifice his social life at the expense of Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude. The striver is the guy who stays at the library long after you are gone. The striver is the guy who takes 30 credits/semester and considers anything below an A/4.0 failure. The striver doesn't work on campus, he is too busy finding ways to pad his resume instead of working retail or workstudy. The striver lets his grades pay his education by applying to ten scholarships a year.

The striver is a future Soros/Fullbright/Rhodes/Gates/Marshall/etc. fellow. The striver lives to study. For the striver, their fun comes from the rewards they expect to receive in return for their diligence. Be it Law School, B-School, academia, or politics. The striver seeks to find the American Dream through academic success.
Anthony was a striver. He transfered from a TTT to an IVY and graduated in 2 years. He studied his ass off and went to Penn Law. He got a Biglaw offer. But lost it all because of an unmoderated mesasgeboard.

Successful strivers:
- Barack Obama
- Harold Koh

Delta SkyMiles, also known as SkyPesos, is the frequent flyer program of Delta Airlines. It has a very poor value and hard to use.
- I'm trying to book an award flight to Paris, but I only have 70,000 SkyPesos
- Just forget about it, you don't have enough SkyPesos to fly anywhere.
