Trexodus 

The act of transgender people leaving Florida for Minnesota, or any other mass exodus of trans people from one state to another, their destination being a state where they are safe. Can also apply to a country, where a large group of trans people relocates in another country.

Florida's policies restricting the rights of trans people are getting too extreme. James is joining the Trexodus out of Florida into Minnesota.

A well-worn term with a new application used to describe the mass departure of Republicans from the Texas House of Representatives.

Texodus will go from a trickle to a widening river as a result of this president’s impeachment proceedings.

Texodus 

The mass evacuation, and the resultant massive traffic jams, in large portions of Texas preceeding the landfall of Hurricane Rita. Many people ran out of fuel and were forced to camp out on the side of major highways and fend for themselves.

Hurricane Rita (the "other" Hurricane) made a last-minute Easterly turn. Bad news for East Texas and West Louisiana. Good news for those camped out on highways further West in Texas.

My friends and I pretty much avoided the Texodus by taking tiny back roads.
