A (white) person who feeds off of the traumatic stories of marginalized/racialized individuals, working them into a digestive system that converts guilt and empathy into an unearned catharsis.

Karen: It must be hard for you sometimes hey?

BIPOC: well yeah, I've gone through my share of racist abuse, but I don't want to go through them again just so a Traumavore can walk away with my story and not help do anything about it.

When a character, typically an OC, has an extreme amount of traumatic or life-changing events in their life that ultimately do not end up affecting the character's attitude or outlook on life and is simply trauma to be trauma for shock value.
