Traditional definition is a dramatic tragedy. Can be used as slang to describe someone who exaggerates small problems.

This song is too tragetic for my liking.

I can't stand talking to him; he acts tragetic about everything!

A portmanteau of Tragedy and Profiteering: The use of a tragedy to further ones personal or political goals.
