Tokyo Mew Mew

Tokyo Mew Mew (–|¾©¥ß¥å¥¦¥ß¥å¥¦ T¨ky¨ My¨± My¨±), also known as Mew Mew Power, is a sh¨jo (girl-oriented) manga and anime series, created by illustrator Mia Ikumi and writer Reiko Yoshida.

The manga series has been published in the Nakayoshi sh¨jo monthly manga magazine in 2001, and has also been collected in the tank¨bon (graphic novel) form, published by Kodansha. An English translation of the manga has been published in North America by TOKYOPOP, and it was published in English in Singapore by Chuang Yi. There is also a sequel series entitled Tokyo Mew Mew ¨¤ la Mode. The anime was licensed in North America by 4Kids Entertainment as Mew Mew Power.

A girl called Ichigo Momomiya and four other girls (Mint Aizawa, Lettuce Midorikawa, Pudding Fong, and Zakuro Fujiwara) have their DNA mysteriously combined with the DNA of endangered animals. Gaining special abilities and a different appearance, they later find out that they have been chosen to protect Earth from the aliens: Kish, Tart, Pie, and the mysterious Deep Blue, who have the power to control aliens which infect animals, turning their hosts into monsters called Chimera Anima (Kirema Anima in the North American manga).

At the same time, these five girls must also work at the Caf¨¦ Mew Mew as waitresses. To make things more dificult for Ichigo, she must also deal with finding out whether her boyfriend, Masaya Aoyama, likes her or knows she is a Mew Mew. She is also pursued by two other boys, Ryou Shirogane, and the alien Kish.

Tokyo Mew Mew is okay I had to admit.

church hurt

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.

Huge. Surpassing normal expectations.
I was fishing with a Spinner Bait and a HONKIN pike came after it and hit it . Felt like a lawnmower running over a brick.

Stealthie

when you're holding up your phone and making faces at it, as though you are taking a selfie, but you're really taking a picture of the person across from you or the wall or anything else that seems interesting but you don't want to be caught dead taking a picture of.

This action is often made more convincing by wiggling the eyebrows or opening the mouth, to pretend you're trying to get a Snapchat filter to work.
FRIEND A: "Did you just take a stealthie of me?"

FRIEND B (turning phone around): "no I was just using snapchat's new filter, see?"

The grindset is a contemporary ideology of self-exploitation disguised as strength, deeply tied to the aesthetics of the “sigma male” and to new digital forms of patriarchy. It promotes the idea that human worth depends on productivity, economic success, absolute emotional control, and the ability to work endlessly, turning vulnerability, rest, community, and tenderness into signs of weakness. Beneath its rhetoric of discipline and power often lies a profound inability to relate healthily to pain, fragility, and human interdependence.
“That’s the grindset, brother. While weak men sleep and complain, sigma males stay disciplined, work in silence, suppress emotions, and build power while everyone else wastes time chasing comfort.”
