The Metro

I'm alone, sitting with my empty glass
My four walls follow me through my past
I was on a Paris train, I emerged in London rain
And you were waiting there, swimming through apologies
I remember searching for the perfect words
I was hoping you might change your mind
I remember a soldier sleeping next to me
Riding on the Metro
You wore white, smiling as you took my hand
So removed, we spoke of wintertime in France
Minutes passed with shallow words
Years have passed and still the hurt
Oh, I can see you now, smiling as I pulled away
I remember the letter wrinkled in my hand
"I'll love you always" filled my eyes
I remember a night we walked along the Seine
Riding on the Metro
I remember a feeling coming over me
The soldier turned, then looked away
I remember hating you for loving me
Riding on the Metro
I'm alone, sitting with my broken glass
My four walls follow me through my past
I was on a Paris train, I emerged in London rain
And you were waiting there, swimming through apologies, sorry
I remember searching for the perfect words
I was hoping you might change your mind
I remember a soldier sleeping next to me

The Young Metro Paradox

The manipulation of the common hip-hop phrase "If Young Metro Don't Trust You, I'mma Shoot you", in a way where said shooter trusts you, therefore being unable to shoot you and defying Young Metro and his trust, causing another shooter to shoot the individual who decided to break Young Metro's trust after refusing to shoot you, which could carry on to multiple people.
Shooter: "Young Metro ordered me to shoot you because you broke his trust"
You: "You trust me though therefore you break his trust, causing the Young Metro Paradox."
Shooter: *Shoots*
You: "Poggers"

Taking a turn for the Melrose

Person 2: Yeah man. This shit is taking a turn for the Melrose.

do not feed the metroids

a simple statement, warding off those who think metriods are cute, and look hungry. metroids feed off of the life forces of other living creatures. feeding them your rations might reek havoc upon thier specialized digestive systems. also, if a metroid sucessfully recieves energy from any meal, it grows in size and strength. so by feeding a metroid in a holding tank, you are helping it escape.
if you are stupid enough to want to feed a metroid, why dont you just jump in the tank , and let it eat you?

The Metronome

The Metrodome

Built in 1982 to house Minnesota sports teams the Minnesota Vikings, Twins, and University of Minnesota Golden Gophers, as well as various high school teams during high school play-offs, it has also hosted Superbowl XXVI, the 1987 and 1991 World Series and the NCAA Final Four in 1992 and 2001. Situated on the eastern side of downtown Minneapolis the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome when first constructed was considered state-of-the-art and was built in order to replace the aging Metropolitan Stadium, which was located in Bloomington, MN. The Metrodome is most recogized as the home of the NFL's Minnesota Vikings. Many record setting events have occurred in the Metrodome including Tony Dorsett's longest run from scrimmage against the Vikings in 1983, Brett Favre's record for touchdowns in 2007, Adrian Peterson's record of rushing yards in 2007 and Gus Frerotte's record 99 yard touchdown to Bernard Berrian in 2008; one of only a handful in NFL history. The Metrodome is the NFL's lowest income generating stadium and seats only about 64,111 seats. The dome's Teflon roof has deflated due to weather issues five times, most recently in December 2010 when the roof suffered catastrophic failure due to a severe blizzard which delivered 17 inches or more to the Minneapolis metro area. The incident was caught on video in dramatic fashion and forced the Vikings to move their "home" game against the Giants to Detroit's Ford Field the following Monday night.
I went to the Vikings game at the Metrodome and the roof fell down because of a blizzard!

murderhobo

In a tabletop game, a murderhobo is a player who murders NPCs indiscriminately. This is normally derogatory, referring to a player who totally ignores quests, dialog, backstory, trade, world building etc.

The term is most common with Dungeons and Dragons, but it can be applied to most RPGs where the player is allowed to kill most quest-giving NPCs and NPC traders. E.g. Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Divinity original sin.
