The Turtles in this small town of Velas, Maharashtra are called tetvas. If you have ever been part of the turtle festival that takes place in the months of April-May you will get to visit them. It's a beautiful site to see. At one of the prettiest beaches in the remote interiors of the state. Enjoy the beautiful homestays and support the Tetva Community.
