A combination of "tell" and "savant," implying a gifted storyteller or narrative virtuoso.
As the campfire crackled and the stars above began to twinkle, we gathered around John, the consummate tellavant of our group, whose mesmerizing tales of distant lands and mystical encounters held us in rapt attention throughout the night, transporting us to realms far beyond the flickering flames.
