Tarantinoing

A screenwriting technique in which two or more characters have a conversation that has nothing to do with the plot of the movie or the current situation, but is usually added to lighten the mood, or to develop character. This method can either work to the movie's advantage, or just slow it down.

Coined by Doug Walker, AKA the Nostalgia Critic, in his review of M. Night Shyamalan's "Signs."

1. Ugh, that new M. Night Shyamalan movie was horrendous. The plot was nonsensical, the characters were dull, and there was WAY too much Tarantinoing.

2. The movie was pretty violent, but the Taratinoing lightened up the mood considerably.

tarantinoized 

1. A movie, show, or literature that has taken and processed by obfuscating the general plot by adding unnecessarily long conversations of a subject irrelevant to the plot (tarantino moments), random 70s style montages, women power that is obviously written or directed by men with a fascination with women's feet, and overrated gore and/or sex.

2. A movie, show, or literature that has had the general plot taken, and then bastardized into the form of what Quentin Tarantino believes is a great movie.

Bob - "Hey Joe! How was Inglorious Bastards?"

Joe - "Inglorious Bastards wasn't to bad. I like those old time spaghetti westerns of old wars. I can't wait to watch Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds!"

Bob - "Sweet! but just a for warning, the movie has been tarantinoized; don't expect to watch a remake. It's still good though."

Joe - "Are there subtitles?"

Bob - "More subtitles than spoken English."

Joe - "Darn. . ."

Tarantining 

Taking other's ideas in order to combine them and make your own one.

In other words it is a word used to describe legitimate way to RELATIVELY plagiarize, in order to get inspired and make something newer and better and it is the only perfect way to describe this situation so simply.

Definition is deriving from directors name Tarantino, who is known for often using old movies ideas to create his own films.

''He tarantined that idea from me'' or ''His videos are good because he is tarantining people contents''.

noun: the urge to have long intense dialog with others followed with an explosive episode of violence.

I got into an argument with that white supremacist from Kansas City the other day about how his ideology was assinine. He must have been so distraught over our conversation that he apparently developed tarantinoism and went out a shot up a Jewish Senior Center
