Something so GAR, so EPIC,so Badass, that the universe itself implodes in the presence of this glorious mech!!!! You think you know what EPIC is? Well you have not seen EPIC until you've seen TTGL. The one Anime that surpasses EPIC with flying colors!! WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK IT IS?!?!?!

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann 

A japanese anime produced by GAINAX in 2007. Has achieved great fame on the internet in a short time. Thought the show itself was popular and overall very good, the sheer level of epic and manlyness caused many watchers to hype the series.

No one is exactly sure why this is, but Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is said to be the true definition of the term "epic". Viewers are advised to be cautious.

Whether or not you decide to watch the anime, it's important to note that if you try it out, you will never look at sunglasses the same way you used to.

Sunglasses, real men, half naked chicks, galaxy sized robots, epic speeches, from boy to man themes, identity problems. This is the recipe of TENGEN TOPPA GURREN LAGANN.

(1) A Super Robot anime released in 2007 by Gainax. The title is generally abbreviated to Gurren Lagann, or TTGL.

(2) A mecha approximately one hundred times the size of the Milky Way galaxy. Formed out of solidified Spiral Energy. Literally powered by the combined manliness of its' pilots. Stupid... or Stupidly Awesome?
