Supapond

A body of fresh water surrounded by land on all sides that is too big to be called a pond, but too small to be called a lake. A supapond is typically between 1 and 10 acres.
My uncle Ralph had a small two acre pond and then he dug a huge five acre ditch (without DEC approval) which created a supapond.
