Subjectivism

When you may talking about what you want but not to be responsible.

Facts isn't important.
When non essential attributes of the subject prevail over the essential ones.
When mind above matter.
Man from subjectivism: I guess... i mean... I don't know, perhaps... I think, so...

Man from objectivism: It is. You are. X is X - not else.

Centristic subjectivism

Defines people that always sway any value of (art, philosophy, anything that's a humanitarian subject) to being subjective.
- You know, just because you think this game is bad, doesn't mean it is. It's all a matter of perspective.
-Cut out that centristic subjectivism bullshit. Just cause you like it, doesn't mean it's good.

Scientific Subjectivism

The (usually controversial) position that scientific knowledge is ultimately grounded in subjective experience—the scientist's perceptions, judgments, and interpretations. Even the most objective measurement must be read by a subject, interpreted by a mind, and reported in language shaped by a culture. Subjectivism doesn't deny that we learn about a real world—it insists that this learning is always mediated through subjects, and that pretending otherwise creates blind spots. The question isn't whether subjectivity contaminates science (it does), but whether we acknowledge and account for it or pretend we've transcended it.
"He claims his data is purely objective, but Scientific Subjectivism notes: he chose which measurements to take, which outliers to drop, which statistical test to use. Every step involved subjective judgment. Objectivity isn't avoiding subjectivity—it's being honest about where it enters."

Epistemological Subjectivism

The view that all knowledge is ultimately grounded in the subject—the knower's perceptions, experiences, and judgments. Even the most "objective" knowledge is known by someone, through their senses, interpreted by their mind, expressed in their language. Subjectivism doesn't deny that we know a real world—it insists that this knowing is always mediated through subjects, and that pretending otherwise creates blind spots. The question isn't whether subjectivity contaminates knowledge (it does), but whether we acknowledge and account for it or pretend we've transcended it.
"You claim to know the objective truth about her feelings. Epistemological Subjectivism says: you know your interpretation of her behavior, filtered through your history, your needs, your fears. That's knowledge—but it's subject knowledge, not god knowledge. Act accordingly."

subjectivisten

Dutch blog where music journalists (AKA Subs) gather to talk about music, music and some more music. It also includes (but not limited to):

- a forum
- weekly lists compiled by the Subs
- a place where Jan Willem can ramble about foreign music he found out
- a movie review section, though that one is barely used. Just like "If... Then...Els".
Person A: Did you read Joost's entry about women in skirts on Subjectivisten.org?
Person B: Yeah. That guy needs a girlfriend.

Radical Subjectivity

The state of unreservedly favoring a one's feelings as the cardinal factor in determining the validity of something instead of observation or reasoning.
I never thought it would become trendy for one's feelings to become the most important part of an explanation for a phenomenon. Methought that one's feelings would more likely be more of a peripheral matter in regards to explaining a phenomenon. I suppose those who prefer radical subjectivity think of my preference for observation & reasoning to be unsympathetic.
