Name for a mythical vegetable that could be used to feed the world (cure-all); most commonly used as a nonsense word, especially in place for a curse.

Term for an unfamiliar food. Coined by Len Cella in the 1985 cult classic "Moron Movies"

Person 1: "Have some Shmegalamunga!"
Person 2: "How do you spell that? I don't eat nuthin' I can't spell!"
