Simpletonitis is a mental condition that's just as easy to obtain in life as a regular STD. A condition in which causes a male to stare a woman down and not have any sexual encounter in any way.

I saw this man staring at this girl at the supermarket, and he just walked away. He may have simpletonitis.

The common disease you catch when simping too hard... Once you get this disease, there is no cure... Only spreading throughout your vicinity.

Symptoms include; obsessing over Tv show or movie characters, screaming into your pillow over a TV show or movie, gluing photos of you and your favorite character together, & knowing everything about your favorite character
