Silverette

A character in anime or manga who has silver hair. Most commonly used for good-looking guys as they most commonly are the ones with silver hair, but some general characters are also silverettes.
Sephiroth from FFVII, Riku from Kingdom Hearts, Zero from Vampire Knight and Kakashi Hatake from Naruto are all well-known silverettes in the anime and manga world.

Nate Silveritis

Constantly checking statistician Nate Silver's 538 blog on the state of the U.S. presidential race, to see which candidate appears to have the advantage at any given moment.
"You've got to stop checking that site every five minutes. You've got Nate Silveritis."

SilverTab

A really cool, edgy-but-not-over-the-top, fashion-forward Levi's diffusion line that appears to have been dropped for some stupid reason. SilverTab jeans were the best, incorporating many elements from several subcultures so a regular guy could subtly rebel and say "Hey, I'm with you." A pox upon whatever suit dumped the line.
"What I like about SilverTab is they have updated style and are made by a real jeans company instead of some fashion house."

Shel Silverstein
1930-1999

PUT SOMETHING IN
Draw a crazy picture,
Write a nutty peom,
Sing a mumble-grumble song,
Whistle through your comb.
Do a loony-goony dance,
'Cross the kitchen floor,
Put something silly in the world
That ain't been there before.
