When something awesome happens that you need to make up a word for it.

Sharon: "Dude! That was awesome!"
Kim: "No, not just awesome. That was shmashum."
Sharon: "Yes, it even rhymes with awesome."
Kim: "Shmashum awesome, that's pretty awesome."
Sharon: "No, man. Shmashum"
