Shishira

Shishira. A female name of Indian origins, one of the many names of the Hindu god Vishnu, the preserver and protector. (Vishnu is the second god of the Hindu triumvirate, the three Gods linked with the world/universe, the three being Brahma, the creator, Vishnu, the protector, and Shiva, the destroyer. There are believed to be many universes, for which these three gods carry out their roles. A universe is created by Brahma, it is maintained(protected, preserved) by Vishnu, and it is destroyed by Shiva when it’s time has come. Life is destroyed, but it will begin again in a new universe of Brahma’s creation. This cycle repeats.)

The name Shishira is closely linked with, but not to be confused with the name “Sisira”, meaning winter.

The male version of Shishira is Shishir.
Your name is Shishira? Like the Hindu god Vishnu?
