Doing an unasked-for favor for someone, and then using it to try and guilt them into doing something for you.
Sam: "So Bob shows up at my house randomly with some brown bananas and is like 'hey, you can use these to make banana bread,' and I'm like 'uh, ok, I don't really bake but thanks,' and then he invites himself in for an hour and asks to borrow $300."

She keeps buying us weird vases and knick-knacks we don't need and then calls us ungrateful if we don't spend hours on the phone with her saying thank you and talking about where we'll put them in the house. Liquid chalk. A liquid version of the traditional block chalk that has been used to improve grip in weightlifting, climbing, and other sports that require grip strength.
The name derives from the texture of actual shark skin. Shark skin will allow a hand to move freely in one direction while halting the hand if it were to move in the opposite direction. Liquid chalk or sharkchalk goes on smooth, then grips.

Striver
The striver is an interesting phenomenon that is seen across college campuses. In essence, the striver is an over-achiever who comes from a working or middle class family. He may be an immigrant. He may have been a slacker in HS who was "born again" into an academic wunderkind. Or he may just be an over-achiever who is keeping at it.
