Shaala/Saala

The word (साला/শালা), romanized as sala/shala is used in both Hindi and Bengali. It means brother in-law when used properly. But now the world is also used as an insult or cuss word because it can also imply incest relations with your sister.

The term was considered super offensive a long time ago but now it's used as normal slang in everyday vocabulary of native south-asian speakers. It's used in the same context as "bastard" or even "idiot."
"maine ek ghantaa intazaar kiya par voh saala ayaa hi naheen."
"I waited for an hour but that fucker/bastard never showed up."

"ei shaala/saala madarchod amar khabar kheye felsos ken?"
"hey you bastard motherfucker, why'd you eat my food?"

saala

Saala is the hindi term for your wife's brother. However it's most commonly used as an insult, with the implication being that you are sleeping with the insulted persons sister.

In everyday usage nobody takes the original meaning too seriously. It can be substituted as a generally insulting term for any person. e.g "Saala kutta" where "kutta" is Hindi for dog. Doesn't make sense if you think of the meaning of the word, but it is a widely used insult anyway.
Can't think of any way of using it in an english sentence that wouldn't sound terribly awkward. The best you can do is just say "Saala".

Saala

The term literally refers to the state of being married to the recipient's sister. In the patriarchal Indian society, saala is imbued with numerous derogatory connotations that underpin inferior social status. Saalas are expected to remain subservient to their jijas (sister's husband). The term is more popularly employed as phatic device, however. Referrals made using saala seek to project the speaker's dominance over the recipient, essentially encapsulating the jija-sala dichotomy.

Saala can be employed as a standalone noun or a modifier. For example, the phrase sala kutta is etensively used to rebuke others wherein kutta refers to dog. Other potential pairings include sala madharhod (motherfuker), sala bhosdiwala (cunt), and sala randibaz (whore-monger). As is evident, saala helps perpetuate abuse of womanhood.
